The knighting scene in Excalibur.

The ending of Cars when McQueen gives up the cup to go back for the King.

The ending of Heat when the victor salutes the loser.

The ending of Return of the Jedi when Luke resolves not to kill his father, even if it means he will die.

I never realized that area from modern warfare was an homage to this movie.

The ending to An Event (1969) with the little boy calling for his grandfather.

Walking through the city in Apocalypto.

The survivor group spitting on a Hitler doll in Come and See (I had to timestamp it)

Gay devil in Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat

This was really satisfying:

why is old man glad that 4 year old vagina diddler (and possibly 4 year old boy diddler) shoot him with perhaps worst submachine gun ever made by human.
and how can he hit anything from thompson in full auto further than 2 yards
also old man bodyguards are utter trash. he should hire this guy;

I know you aren't a real American, because you didn't pick up on something that's actually stupid, you just have girly opinions you got from guntubers.

I will give you one chance to spot it.

When movies could have entire scenes without saying a word, but... conveying much.

Moral character and justice scene. Consequence, and accepting responsibility.

Was always just a funny scene.

Another great scene:

Could name 10 in Excalibur alone. Knighting scene is def top 5.

This one, using Wagner's Parsifal then Orff's O Fortuna really shows how Boorman understood European classical music:

Could probably name 10 in Conan as well ... These 2 are good examples of what makes this movie so special to me:

Also this classic:

damn that squad leader really sucked. he leads his men into trap and then even tho he gets chance to save his men lives he spewing some nonse bullshit while dooming them to suicide pretty much.

reminds me this scene from mr inbetween, except that guy had decency to admit how much he fucked up

I once thought that metal gear solid was at least somewhat original. Then I watched The Rock.
