Forum without images

This is a stupid idea and a problem from the category of “problems of poor people from third world countries,” but still, is it possible to somehow load forum pages without pictures? Like without images in messages/posts, avatars or embedded media? If somebody have limited or slow internet or both, for example.

if you're on a chromium or chromium-based browser:
click the little icon left of the URL -> site settings -> change 'Images' to 'Block'
