You are probably some kind of AGILE cultist PM dunking on engineers, dismissed.
Lol **** AGILE cultists. I'm sick of that ****.
And yes I do work in software.
Still it doesn't matter whether the individual devs are lazy or the PMs / directors are *****, the company still decided to release half done stuff while wasting resources on woke **** instead.
Realizing that the biggest thing keeping me from playing this again is that even with only 3 party slots there aren't enough likable companions to fill them. Who am I going to adventure with, Wyll and Halsin? Minsc one quest before the end of the game?
Mods let you have 16 part slots in single player and 8 in multiplayer.
Victors clap when others succeed; Losers feel every spotlight as a personal bleed.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.
It's sad that it's such a plausibly sincere post at this point. Lol.
I apologize if my responses were not relevant to your needs. As an AI language model, I do not have personal beliefs or opinions, and I only provide responses based on the information provided to me.
Nah, it's trolling.
Poe's law is a thing, but I don't think there's anyone that deranged that has the capacity to post something that's not written in **** on the bathroom wall.

Game crashing nonstop for tons of ppl who never used mods in Steam forums rn

edit: think imma move on and finally start Pathfinder
I've played through this with a buddy in like august/september and rightfully concluded that I'll wait with replaying it until enhanced edition comes out which Swen will never say will happen until it does because it'll stop the moneyflow until it's out.
There's no way they brought the VAs back for 2-3 hours of recording maximum some months ago just so they could add a very minor changes in the epilogue, it would be pointless, so I assume we're gonna see EE. With goblins as playable race of course. If you fixate on the game too much right now ur wasting your time.

It is trolling because they left it as a positive review. If it was negative then I'd believe otherwise

It took 9 months for Larian to release DOS 2 definitive edition. Most likely BG3 is gonna take way longer than that, considering how much the game seems to be in a broken state 6 months after its release.

I expect this autumn. As I've said they won't announce it right now simply because of sales drop but it's hard to believe they won't do it at all simply because it's obvious the game would benefit from it and they have people working on it anyway(and Swen seems to be concerned with long term sales). Now that I think of it they may not even call it EE officially, it'll simply be a different game after patch 12.
tbh would be surprised if it even gets similar treatment to DOS/DOS2, the massive upscaling and loss of one of their core studios likely destroyed larian.
Long story short, two groups of butthurt slavs are continuing a centuries long blood feud and Larian had to shut down their St Petersburg branch because they had no way to pay their employees. It was one of their oldest studios after their main one.
The Dark Urge reveal is so underwhelming. I mean it's pretty obvious to the player what the situation is right off the bat but your character is basically 100% oblivious and then you have a dream that explains it at the start of Act 3 with no need for any sort of investigation or deduction on your character's part.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?
They probably should have just made it come up earlier if you're obviously giving into the Urge early on and save the random dream for if you've been resistant. I think if you're gonna let me turn into a big edgy demon monster you can go ahead and reveal that it's because I'm an edgy demon spawn

The idea that you have to use a traditional investigator in a setting where people can speak to the dead is a little ********. I get that it's largely for gameplay purposes but it's a little jarring.
"We have no choice but to accept the investigator's verdict on the matter case closed" uses a magic spell that compels corpses to speak honestly no matter what and both the accused and the murdered say someone else did it
I'm just stating the facts.

I mean most people wouldn't bother being humble farmers if you could just make a pact with a random cambion and gain powers effortlessly. Economy and society in a magical world wouldn't be nothing nearly resembling what we have in real world

To be fair I doubt some shitheel farmer would have anything of value enough to gain powers from some deal with a demon. Any sort of high profile murder case though surely at least one (1) person would bring in a mage or just buy a scroll of speak to dead.

High fantasy settings always suffer from this.
The issue I have is that there is a built in game mechanic to avoid this. Just have the body destroyed in some way where you can't speak to the corpse or come up with some magic ********. Personally I would have had the actual murder victim's body be too damaged but keep the alleged murder's body able to be talked to since you have to use a *little* bit of thought into finding and digging up his fresh grave.

Afaik devils don't care much if you're a powerful or powerless person, if you go after them, they'll do business with you. Status in that case would only mean the scale of the business, but as far as I know they wouldn't refuse dealing with you because you're a peasant. A peasant's soul is still a plus.
And yeah it's basically as I and Rusty said. A magical world would be completely different from typical society and economy that we know, and storytellers don't want that because that would make writing too complicated and people do want something resembling real world so they can identify and include themselves more easily.
Suspension of disbelief is really necessary to enjoy this kind of genre. That includes not being overly critical of stupid ****** magical mini-elephant investigators.

You know, a common sentiment is that overbalancing a single player game is foolish, but I think BG3 suffered a lot from careless balance. Why would a physical character ever not take the bard subclass that gives you a shitload of extra attacks with an extra short rest to immediately regenerate those free attacks? What does the other subclass do, give you an extra minor proficiency? Not to mention the couple of feats that feel mandatory out of a selection of dozens in a game where you're only getting 1-3. Yeah let me just spend my reaction to do 3 damage with a polearm instead of going first in every single encounter in the entire game regardless of my initiative roll.
Also I don't like all the gay and black and chinese people
