Don't look at a gift horse in the mouth. Group photos of the development team are one of the best ways to determine how pozzed a game will be.

Agree, in this case I was mildly interested until I saw the group picture. Between Mila Kunis on the right, the three crones in the middle and some reddit-antifa soytypes scattered around, this is a clear pass. Give me a game made by actual men.

It was supposed to be released tomorrow, but now it's being delayed by another 2 months.

Always weird why they wait so long to push the release date back. There is no way they didn't already know 1-2-3 weeks ago that they won't make it. The closed beta they are referencing here also ended in Dec.

Demo was nice, thankfully every soldier can be fully edited to remove wymmin from ranks if you want. Too bad they delayed the game, guess i'll just play something else.

Very interesting case, as its already abandoned.

I am pretty sure they already fired all their staff, even CM’s are not responding anymore, keys are not being send out, basically no updates over the past weeks. They stopped responding right around the time in March? they pushed the release back. I am not sure why they did it, but it looks to me they were aware that this thing bombs, fired all the staff and for some reason pushed the release.

Anyway, I beat the beta and there isn't anything to miss. Its a clear King Arthur clone from people who don’t understand what made it great and are lacking serious game dev skills. They added some RNG missions in there to make it more “accessible” and effectively remove the injury system (it sucked), squad management and base building were completely useless. There were two boss missions, one in the middle, one at the end that were somewhat challenging (tbf, the final boss was ridiculously hard). Everything else was not only **** easy, but also essentially pretty much played the same.

Bye Artefacts, Naheulbeuk was a good game at least, but after that **** I won’t miss you.

I really don’t understand why so many devs are making that mistake. Having one minor success and suddenly they think they are some sort of game dev gods. Just add some roster and base management to Naheulbeuk 2 and done. Why do so many devs feel the need to start all over again?

Edit: Well they send out the keys at least. (for beating the closed beta that is, honestly didn't expect that)

Wow, it's actually even worse than I thought. One of the most obvious issues during the beta in December was that the game was mapped to the French keyboard layout. They did not even fix that one. Guess they abandoned it already back then.

I feel more and more justified in quitting at the first sign of this content because it nearly always goes hand-in-hand with bad games.
