This is hopefully fixed now, difficult to pin down.

I'd like to see what reaction I received from the notifications panel and not just "somebody has reacted to your post".
Why do I get this error when trying to post an inline video?

Tears unnumbered ye shall shed; and the Valar will fence Valinor against you, and shut you out, so that not even the echo of your lamentation shall pass over the mountains.

Permissions for registered users in News had it disabled, I enabled it.
Clicking on a user's name in the reactions box that pops up when you click on reactions underneath posts leads to 404 Not Found.

The buttons system is paid third-party work, I need to report a couple problems anyways so thanks for bringing this up now.
Forgot to mention, an option to close the reactions box by clicking outside the box would be nice.

Admins editing posts doesn't leave an "edited by..." message. This appears to be something built-in to phpbb, why...

I'm so glad this forum exists, guys. There is this other forum where everyone just keeps making fun of me, so I hope here I will have my free space.
Has anyone seen my badge?

I suggest at least using a VPN next time.

I've considered making the site harder to use to increase the barrier of entry.

Fixed, also removed it from all links because I just didn't like it. Color is fine enough to indicate a link, don't need it to be underlined…

I can't do anything about your extension being borked, because there's nothing wrong on my end.Gregz wrote: ↑March 10th, 2023, 17:30Product of this extension in Brave btw https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... hnkhdbieeh

Not sure if this has been suggested already, but it would be nice if you didn't receive notifications for posts in threads you follow from users you have on your foe list.

It's on my backlog.WhiteShark wrote: ↑March 26th, 2023, 18:42Not sure if this has been suggested already, but it would be nice if you didn't receive notifications for posts in threads you follow from users you have on your foe list.
Originally I was going to just redo the smilies interface then move onto overhauling the ignore feature, but I pushed it aside to start working on integrating a WYSIWYG editor first and foremost. I've just been a bit busy lately with non-site stuff + got distracted a bit by conan exiles. The new editor breaks too many things to put it off because they'll end up having to be redone, as I'm already having to do.
Are they having you write Lord of the Rings in prose from the point of view of Captain Kirk?rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑March 26th, 2023, 21:26It's on my backlog.WhiteShark wrote: ↑March 26th, 2023, 18:42Not sure if this has been suggested already, but it would be nice if you didn't receive notifications for posts in threads you follow from users you have on your foe list.

Captain Kirk had seen many strange and wondrous things during his time in Starfleet, but nothing quite like the land of Middle-earth. He and his crew had been transported here by a mysterious entity known as the Q, who seemed to take great delight in meddling with the affairs of mortals.Atlantico wrote: ↑March 31st, 2023, 10:33Are they having you write Lord of the Rings in prose from the point of view of Captain Kirk?rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑March 26th, 2023, 21:26It's on my backlog.WhiteShark wrote: ↑March 26th, 2023, 18:42Not sure if this has been suggested already, but it would be nice if you didn't receive notifications for posts in threads you follow from users you have on your foe list.

Kirk had initially been skeptical of the Q's claims that they were in a world of magic and monsters, but the sight of the towering mountains and rolling plains had quickly convinced him otherwise. And then there were the creatures he had encountered - orcs, trolls, and giant spiders that seemed straight out of a nightmare.
Despite the danger, Kirk couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the world around him. It was like nothing he had ever seen before, and he couldn't resist the urge to explore it further.
One day, as he was wandering through a dense forest, he heard the sound of battle in the distance. Curiosity getting the better of him, Kirk followed the noise until he came upon a group of ragged warriors fighting for their lives against a swarm of orcs.
Without hesitation, Kirk leapt into the fray, his phaser set to stun. The orcs were no match for Starfleet training, and he quickly dispatched several of them before turning his attention to the warriors.
They were a motley crew, clad in mismatched armor and armed with swords and spears. But Kirk could see the determination in their eyes, and he knew that they were no ordinary fighters.
"Who are you?" he asked, as he joined their ranks.
"We are the Rohirrim," one of them replied, a grizzled veteran with a thick beard. "We ride for the city of Gondor, to aid in its defense against the armies of Mordor."
Kirk nodded, impressed by their bravery. He had heard of Gondor, a city under siege by the dark lord Sauron, but he had never expected to find himself in the middle of the conflict.
"Well then," he said, drawing his phaser once more. "Let's give them a fight they won't forget."
And with that, he charged back into battle, the Rohirrim at his side. For a brief moment, Kirk felt like he was living out some kind of fantasy, fighting alongside heroes from another world against impossible odds.
But then he remembered that this was no game - that lives were at stake, and that the fate of an entire world hung in the balance. And he knew that he and his crew would do everything in their power to help the people of Middle-earth emerge victorious.

img bbcode now supports resizing images using the 'size' attribute, it's in percent. For example, size=50 means 50%.

Code: Select all

I judge how unused a feature is by the lack of complaints about bugs I know exist.

It's wonky. In this thread, for instance, I get the slug. In various other threads I didn't.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2023, 12:49urls now have topic slugs in them
