I'm not much of a fan of text parsers tbh, but it's an unofficial(?? was this licensed?) remake.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

It's a fan remake, but it fucks with the combat and a few other things I forget, I hated it. EGA fo lyfe.
Specifically it tried to make combat more "arcadey" sort of what like QFG 4 tried to do (and also failed at). So timed shots, extra moves, and crap like that. I prefer typing out "fight, fight, parry, fight" and then either being the winner, or dead.

No, it's a lot more complicated. More timing, actually having to dodge. I kept getting killed which never EVER happened in OG QFG2.rusty_shackleford wrote: β October 17th, 2023, 12:46Is it like the QFG1 VGA version?Tweed wrote: β October 17th, 2023, 12:44Specifically it tried to make combat more "arcadey" sort of what like QFG 4 tried to do (and also failed at). Having played both I think the original feels better.
Also the original has the best EGA I've ever seen.
