What happened to Blizzard is happening to every major studio, and in fact the entire hobby. So, essentially every thread is about Blizzard. The microcosm is the macrocosm.
It used to be a peek behind the curtain and a chance to hear anecdotes about how things are made. Now it is a marketing commercial delivered by diversity hires that desperately want to be working for Netflix instead.Val the Moofia Boss wrote: β October 2nd, 2023, 19:57I went there from 2014 through 2018. I used to like the panels, such as the panels on how they made the cinematics, or the panel with the environment artists on how they made the zones. It's a shame that I can't find most of these panels on Youtube. Some of them were really informational. The voice actor panels also used to be fun. Key emphasis on "used to be". The last two years I went, the voice director for Overwatch wasted half of the panel time talking about diversity, rather than giving the audience what they came here for: to hear the voice actors.
No you didn't. Change the title.Shillitron wrote: β October 2nd, 2023, 19:40You guiz got your tickets yet??

Everyone made mac versions back in the 90s. But then they stopped doing that during the early 2000's, which is where the "magg no game :DDDDDDDD" meme comes from. These days, most devs port to mac on a comparable scale to the glory days.Atlantico wrote: β October 3rd, 2023, 15:07The only reason Blizzard is a thing is that they made Mac versions of their games in the 90s when hardly nobody else was.
