Risking to be flogged again, I have to say that considering the work and effort you guys put down to make these mods, small spots such as these can easily be forgiven. You are giving us a chance to enjoy the game in ways which the vanilla version cannot. Kudos.

And here? The fact that a female can still say it? If only that, I'd say that the line perhaps should be changed for males because it's pretty cringe

Yes, after you say this then Karlach says her body yearns for you or whatever. I think we missed it since we always behead her

Could you swap that one out with an option to murder him on the spot please? I don't mean for the Dark Urge specifically, rather for anyone, it's just common sense in a time and place of no reprecussions. Maybe even make an exception for palandin oathbreaking?

Jokes aside, that one scene and dialogue option was the hardest camel I had to swallow when I attempted a playthrough after release. It really made me consider finding a way to off him just so I wouldn't have to endure any more of that. Just seeing Wyll acting on his demented desire to be a ballerina alone.. That whole scene is fckn revolting.

Edit: Kowe, if there was one request I could make for any BG3-mod anywhere it would be to kill that whole scene dead asap. I'm going to postphone my playthrough until you've found the time and effort to deal with that one because it's the worst thing in the whole bloody game.

The "start Lae'zel romance" line where Tav says "Is it me, or are you looking at me differently?" to Lae'zel even with a female Tav is also back with this patch.

Would I be right in assuming Even Better Romance - BA Compatibility is an all or nothing deal? That if it is to work fully I need to use all the companion mods, not just some of them?

Yes.
When I have the time to get it done, a spreadsheet with documentation of Romance limitations will be uploaded. So it can be used with the Toolkit Project to build customized variants of EBC, EBC - BCC & EBC - Celibate. The documentation will include line changes/translations per file and more.

@Kowe Hi, Is there a possibility you could make one for Astarion where instead of him approving polyamory relationship with other companions (Halsin etc.), he instead gets jealous or doesn't approve of this.

For the normal version, only modified dialogue trees. For the Better Companions version, also line changes aka new translations.

I unpacked the normal version and found english.xml in Localization folder with over 4000 lines of english dialogue. It would replace the current language lines, no?

Yes, this is a little mistake. You can remove that lingo from the normal version.

I think it only triggers if you are not currently in a relationship. Maybe a good dialogue option would be, "get back on your side of the camp boy, there ain't no pillow biting happening over here".

It seem to work, tested on Shadowheart & Lae'zel at the tiefling party.

One thing i noticed, when speaking to Lae'zel with a female character, the dialogue end normally without the romance options, BUT if you talk to her again you have romance options available.
On the screen where you pick who to spend the night with, the option to pick her is not here even if you do the above.
