His corpse was correctly altered.SniperChris wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 21:35While I liked the Dark Urge being an insane, albino Dragonborn (and this is still "canon" based on the short story/web browser game published prior to Baldur's Gate 3's release), I'm in total agreement that it probably scared people off who didn't know what the Dark Urge was.
Is his corpse in the Bhaal Temple also changed to a human?

Don't take it to heart luv. Just a comment on separating objective & subjective changes will help keep criticism down and free up time to focus on other stuff. Since people are always going to feel strongly about major characters.Silver wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 21:58@BobT
I thought it was obvious that "buh it's cute" was used in a more lighthearted manner than ACTUAL reasoning for every single little thing I did in the mod.
Appreciate you dissecting me for that though.![]()
Great work besides. Clearly many months of work for all involved. Once again it's amusing how free-time modders manage to output better quality than the paid devs lol.

Larian can't even justify their presence with reference to Baldur's Gate's ethnic ghettos, as Larian did not deign to include the city's most famous ghetto: Little Calimshan. Perhaps a walled ghetto on the edge of town was too on the nose?

Clearly some djinni or busybody mage brought them in as slaves, and some escaped.SniperChris wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:26Larian can't even justify their presence with reference to Baldur's Gate's ethnic ghettos, as Larian did not deign to include the city's most famous ghetto: Little Calimshan. Great work! Couple of questions:
1) Are there ANY dragonborns left in the game (disguised dragons don't count)?
2) Why the vampire spawn changes? Unlike illithids, vampirism works on all humanoids - there was a dwarf vampire in the Drizzt books. I thought it made sense that Cazador's evil captain planet ritual should require one victim from each race.
3) Is Sarevok supposed to be without his iconic helmet now? That seems like a loss.
On individual PCs, I'm also pretty down on Mystra - I thought vanilla looked fine and just needed some unique clothing, but not in that style; I don't think she has shown that much skin since the Waterdeep cover
Iffy on Cazador, he looks a bit Elder Scrolls-y, I'll have to see him in-game. Though I also was fond of his concept art version, which was a full on fantasy Fu Manchu, extremely based choice for a sallow foreigner trying to acquire power via an underground network of vice and assassinations.
I also dislike changing Helsik, because a dwarf being a paragon of greed is extremely fitting.
Oh, and how did you change He Who Was? I thought his appearance was pretty good for a Shadar-Kai, without making a dedicated racial head/body.

But it's quite fitting, innit?

Yes, there are still DGB in game. In BG city as well.Demonic Fate wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:571) Are there ANY dragonborns left in the game (disguised dragons don't count)?
Vampire spawn were all supposed to be residents of BG city, which is a predominantly human city. Seeing a wee lil' gnomish guy as a BG city vampire, who was supposed to be seducing / turning lots of free meat for Cazador's sex dungeon was... rather laughable.
Sarevok still has his helmet on! I forgot to mention that it was taken off only for the purpose of screenshots. My bad.Demonic Fate wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:573) Is Sarevok supposed to be without his iconic helmet now? That seems like a loss.
He looks quite awesome in game, totally give it a try. Some screenshots don't fully capture edits. His new look is a big improvement from a mature, asian elf.
He did not go through a lot of changes necessarily, we even restored vanilla head on him which otherwise would've been overturned by Heads mod, since he's not a "unique" NPC in head department. His tentacles are gone (tentacles? for someone who worships Raven Queen?) and he was dressed up a little bit.Demonic Fate wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:57Oh, and how did you change He Who Was? I do not have a proper side-by-side ready, but here is the changed version.
βΊ He Who Was
Nahh, the dialogue implies risk-based analysis and forethought, rather than pure impulse.
He must be a half breed.
Borderline Simping. Watch it.

In the Underdark right now, here's hoping for that Isobel white hair patch before I get to the shadowlands lol..... It's such a minor nitpick since everything else is millions of times better than the slop we were fed in vanilla. XD
Some of the new heads are floating away from their bodies/hair, but it might be because of other mods I have installed.

Kanon, Arka, and half-elf female 1 and 3. I'll check other stuff I have installed.loregamer wrote: β April 22nd, 2025, 04:58Which NPCs?Tamyn wrote: β April 22nd, 2025, 04:48Some of the new heads are floating away from their bodies/hair, but it might be because of other mods I have installed.

Sorry for the late reply. Don't have a screenshot, but jump to an early save if you have one.Silver wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 17:04Hello. Or, if you don't have a screenshot, was she having a bright white shirt or somewhat dirtied up, off white shirt, pants and leg wrappings?
Her old version might've slipped through into the packaged version.
It's only visible in dialogue with her.
When i drag files into the mod manager, only the name change mod is beeing put in. The Aesthetics, Head and Swaps it does not take. What could be the problem.
The .pak was installed into the mod folder from all 4 but only the name change is visible.

Thereβs two different load orders for the screenshots in the download and install sections. Iβm going to assume the one in download is the correct one since the files are labeled, but the install one should probably be changed for consistency or vice versa.

I found this mod for Mystra, it redesigns her face and outfit. I still don't think she's pretty enough but I love the dress.Demonic Fate wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:57On individual PCs, I'm also pretty down on Mystra - I thought vanilla looked fine and just needed some unique clothing, but not in that style

Midgets look laughable and don't fit the good majority of concepts, especially a ******* vampire (spawn) of all things. Helsik as a dwarf looks ******** and disrupts the whole atmosphere of stepping into a devil's den. Rather a ******* circus.Demonic Fate wrote: β April 21st, 2025, 22:572) Why the vampire spawn changes? Cazador - or anyone - cannot look anything but white, period, he's also an elf of all things. There's nothing good about his concept art either, if a character is a ****** or Mongolian turd - it's automatically ugly, unacceptable and has no room for compromise. A Mongolian belongs in a soup pot along with the bat that caused covid, not in Forgotten Realms. No more "mysterious quirky asians with assassin, catgirls and katanas" on my watch.
Popping in to say that Hijimare's works just fine, simply load any specific NPC replacer after Rail Ritler 1.0, and it works as usual.

Only save I have is in Act 3, so I checked in Rivington with the whores. I did the needful installed each and every Hiji NPC that didn't look like a weeb abomination, but I also overwrote the dancing tiefling that you guys made a better design for. I tracked down which file it was, removed it, and yours was loaded in its place. It seems to be working as you'd expect, whatever's at the bottom gets priority.
