VPN ip ranges are going to get banned as some insane guy goes through them. Apologies if this affects anyone else, but don't blame me.

But rusty! This will prevent many Slavs from accessing this site! Good.

Btw, could you please explain to non-tech savy people like me what exactly the problem is? Sounds like the guy is just using a VPN to connect to this site? What's the problem with that?

Nvm, I just saw your posts in the Administrative Action thread:

Guess we now know who the "insane guy" was.

Can we admit now that this guy has been here to fuck up the forum from the beginning? That is why he pulled the gay routine constantly to rub our noses in faggotry in order to piss off the community here that clearly doesn’t like that shit. Fags are corrosive to communities and civilization in general. They should just be banned altogether.

I'm not sure about the rest, but i agree that fags are 100% corrosive to the community. There is no such thing as a good fag. They'll resort to pushing fag boundaries as soon as they feel confident.

hey @rusty_shackleford
What is the size of database of this forum?
I'm wondering if 1gb database limit of my chosen hosting plan will be enough for forum of similiar size to rpghq

There's a bug where you'll get notifications from reactions after disabling reaction notifications on posts that were already rated by at least one person.
I can see what causes it, but I'm too lazy to fix it right now.

What was vergil spamming?
He kept posting "testing" in the Whatever Popped Into Your Head thread because Rusty put his account on auto-moderate (so every post had to be approved) and he was freaking out begging for it to be taken off in chat and repeatedly posting to see if it was still on (there's no other way to tell if it's on as far as I know than to try to make a post).

Personally, I wouldn't consider this spamming, and I tend to think the right thing to do was just to NOT APPROVE those posts, but I have to suspect the decision was made to approve them all in order to create the appearance of spamming in order to have an excuse to rile him up further...

Edited to add: By the way, the reason Rusty did this is because Vergil made what I interpreted as a joke, but what may have been taken, and may have been meant for all I know, as a threat, saying that he was thinking about trying to find a time when all the mods were asleep so he could spam without anyone noticing.

“Testing” is pretty inflammatory…

I think if it was fag images again rusty would have continued to let it slide. :voting:

You're probably right, Rusty loves fags but hates test.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a bot that 404 reacts posts with dead image links @loregamer

Please don’t make a bot to misuse the 404 react. It’s for calling people retards.

Sincerely,

The staff.

Not sure what thread to put this in, so I'll put it here.

@rusty_shackleford I remember that apparently the site's userbase ballooned back when the Sir Aylin mod was banned on Nexus. How's the site's growth looking at the moment?

I've been trying to tell people fed up with Nexus and other pozzed sites how to find uncensored mods, but unless you know the exact mod name few people apparently realize this site exists.

Despite many long hours meditating, I have been unable to come up with a good design for the '24 paypig badge. I'm now taking ideas.

A gold/brass plate with the roman numeral XXIV stamped on it. Solves it now until the end of 2099.

themed after RPGHQ's 2024 GOTY (actually 2023 GOTY because of the funny system)
