Yea, its not as common as husband/wife and is more used with people that are not married. For those who are married its Husband= manžel, Wife=manželka. It comes from "manželství" = marriage. The word "manželství" comes from an old "pre-slavic" word "mal-žena" which means "man and a woman". Which is why gay marriage activists are mad here, because the very origin of the world denies marriage being anything else than a man and a woman thing.

I've been learning Polish, and I gotta admit that Czech seems very similar, albeit it's still different.

It's different, but besides Slovakian (obviously), Polish is probably the language that most Czechs can somewhat understand to a decent degree without having to learn it. When i played Archolos with Polish dub i almost didnt need the English subs , because i understood about 70% of what was being said.

Honestly, he's been consistent. Before the leaks and controversy started, I noticed his support for sodomite marriage. At first, I thought that was a red flag, but I still thought KCD 2 would be good. Now, it seems he's a center-right conservative who doesn't like ***** people but does support sodomite marriage and similar issues. That's why he included sodomite characters in the first game, so I don't think his views have changed, but this also makes him a historical revisionist regarding sodomite representation.

But I will say this: I liked how in the first game you could challenge and be dismissive of sodomite characters, like when you could tell the sodomite monk that Satan had deceived him. So, you didn't have to agree with everything. However, I'm not sure if it's the same in KCD 2. Regardless, I'm not buying it. Not only because they portrayed Henry as a sodomite, but also because there's a 99% chance they made Hans the sodomite option too.
