I don't get it. The only one that matches is early access, and you can just wait until it releases.

They went from a small indie team to getting a professional publisher and working on it full time with regular monthly updates, so I'd expect it to be finished in the not too far future.

Tbh they basically made two games. The original one was interesting, but buggy as hell and prototype-tier. Wish I documented it, because it's not even the same one they have on the legacy branch, it's from before that.
