I give it a couple years before he transitions.
Not gonna lie, seeing how many ******* right now are "panic transitioning" because their Orange Strawman is supposedly going to make it illegal or something, I reckon the guy may start feeling self-imposed pressure to hurry up his body butchering. kek

There's this Blood mod that makes voxel-based enemy models instead of sprites. It's like they kept 100% of the atmosphere with none of the downsides of sprites.

Did they detail how the voxel models were made anywhere?
There are dedicated voxel editors. Complexity-wise they're in-between pixel art and modeling so you don't need to spend ******* years on Blender or Max to be actually proficient. I don't know the pipeline for converting individual sprites for maximum fidelity and time-efficiency. I think what helps with fidelity is that Blood has no per-vertex/per-pixel lighting on models.

Seems like no matter how hard the pendulum swings, there will always be ideological ******* that would rather starve to death than give people who disagree with them what they want.

For those asking us about a PC version of Code Violet… the reason we are not bringing it to PC is we do not want anyone modding vulgar versions of the main character as well as other characters in the game.

We hold our voice actresses and actors with high regard, as well as our artistic vision for the game and story and reject any form of destroying that with sexual mods.

Making a joke out of our art and possibly tarnishing the reputation of our voice actresses and actors is not worth the extra money we can make.

Yeah sure, we are the ones tarnishing your reputation. Whatever you say. :pipe-hat:

I played the demo and it's really mediocre. There's nothing objectionable but nothing that makes it stands out in any way either.

I tried the demo earlier, it's pretty similar to the previous DE. They are adding a campaign, which is nice. I assume there will be campaign DLC like the previous one.

Otherwise, I don't get the point. Performance is not.quite as good as the HDs and the new graphics look bad.

They're adding 8 additional units and more AI lords, plus new trails and a new campaign.

I've played through the definitive edition for the first game recently and the graphical changes weren't so bad to be noticeable, plus the added content was nice.

Yeah, the new units are all Arab from what I can see, and their new spear thrower needs balance. It seems to be good vs everything (and cheap I guess because the AI builds a lot of them!). I do like the new siegebreaker unit, and the camels are okay I think.

What I didn't like about the Stronghold DE campaigns is that too many are sieges where you have a set number of units at the start. Those are my least favorite types of missions and they went all in on those. I am hopeful for the new crusader trail.

What are your favourite Stronghold games? I only played Stronghold 2 myself and would love to play more of the franchise.

Stronghold and Crusader are the best. Legends is pretty good, and similar to S2. I like Crusader 2 well enough, but I think it requires the "Stronger Walls and Tweaks" mod.

Warlords is not very good. Stronghold 3 could have been great, but there are too many bugs and a few other issues that make it not worth trying.

I really hate when games have different voice actors record the same lines. You probably could have had them ad lib some generic combat shouts instead of having every enemy in the game spam "GO GO GO" "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE"

Eh, more money we and even the normies save in the near future.

I think that since most game dev companies are private there isn't much that Trump's anti-DEI laws can do about them, so we must keep closing our wallets to make them tank further.
