I don't trust any mods for New Vegas, it's midwit territory. No autistic savants pouring their life into it, neither is there a genius making mods in his spare time. All middle-of-the-road garbage last I checked.

I don't trust any game that is universally lauded as being an 11/10 experience. I played New Vegas, and it was nothing to write home about. It probably only appeals to liberals and their disdain towards reactionaries. It's liike the new Earthbound or Firefly for zoomers. Something that is just so HECKIN' great and "speaks to me!".

I put >700 hrs in NV and loved the base game. I always sided with House or Yes Man. I had no idea there were quests for the NCR and Legion. I just played it for the old west in a retro future apocalypse.

I liked new vegas for the guns, tbh. I don't think any rpg has done guns better.

It did do guns pretty good but the level design to use those guns was pretty lacking. I could imagine a lot of hitman style missions that would have worked well with a sniper rifle.

I think I would have liked the guns more if the combat was more tacticool. I rarely found myself switching my weapon in the middle of combat because it's just shooty pooty.
