I like it so far, but it still has a few bugs popping out at me. I might put it on the backburner for now and let the guy patch it up.

Still happy I spent a few zogbux on it, as I can see it is going to turn out to be a great game. Who doesn't love a game with a dog that can equip the ring?

Did @LoreMaster maintain a developer's blog at all? I'm curious as to what his inspirations for this was.

Played it for a few hours now that I can disable bouncing, I can see the appeal. But I'm not a fan of the skills-go-up-when-used mechanic at all. Interesting game, but I stopped playing because I can't find a notepad and pen right now so I'll continue later.

I'm sorry that you hate Morrowind, Oblivion, Kenshi, and Quest for Glory.

Doesn't mean it's a good feature tho.

Somehow I can see rusty waiting patiently for the experience points to roll in as he's doing work then hears a ding signifying he can now improve his skills at certain breakpoints. :smug:

The alternative doesn't necessarily have to be levels. I just find little joy in repetitive grinding that these systems encourage.

Everything is a grind unless you play on Game Urinalist mode. ;)

Anyone know what the "DPI" option in the settings does? Doesn't seem to actually change anything.

Also, rather annoying to get a "SECRET" popup but have no idea where it is.

If a cave has lore, chances are there's something crawling around in it.

I assume DPI sets the smoothness of the pixel graphics? I never messed with it.

I agree about the secret notification not connecting properly with a game screen reveal. You can sometimes see a revealed secret on your automap, if it doesn't show up on-screen.

Luckily the dev is very quick at fixing bugs and making reasonable improvements.

Almost anything you guys find disagreeable can be changed during this window of time.
