GW2 is awful. Better than FF14, but still, quite bad.
Their writing certainly is, as the writing team has been shifting more than a genderfluid delusional woman's gender identity

But I like GW2 overall
You can turn any class into a healer and/or support if you really try
Can't wait for expanded weapon options for each classes

It looks a little better than the previous game.
But, honestly, the graphics in that were good enough already.
Looking forward to this.
Same. I played it a while back, still have it installed for some nostalgia nights I may have

I like the magic system there
Although I prefer to have 2 tanks and 1 flank while I'm buffing and healing

It scratches the itch to be the healer of the party, without playing League of Legends or dealing with people in MMOs

Even if nothing much will be changed world and gameplay wise, at least the graphics will improve (hopefully)

It's just my opinion, not the absolute truth

The reason why I'm putting this up is because it seems that the griffin will be changed from DD 1, where DD 1 had basically 2 encounters the whole game, it seems DD 2 will have them be a bit more aggressive.

Griffins are giant monsters with the wings of an eagle and the body of a lion.

They soar high and circle in the sky, striking once spotting their prey.

There is nowhere to hide in this giant bird's territory.

The Chopper is a type of goblin that lurks in the shadows of the deep forest.

Quick on their feet, these pesky foes excel at ambushing and taking advantage of the terrain in which they dwell.

Rattlers are four-legged beasts whose back seems to be covered in rocks.

They appears in mountainous terrains, and can be mistaken for a giant, rolling boulder.

Try to knock them down and aim for the weak spot on their stomach.

Cyclops are monstrously strong one-eyed giants.

They wield huge weapons with ease and won't back down from a fight.

Strike their lone eye with ranged attacks, or test your bravery by climbing and attacking the eye directly.

Minotaurs are ferocious and extremely fierce bull-headed monsters.

A single hit from their battle axe or charge attack can prove to be fatal.

Lots of potential with this one still. I realized I have Dark Arisen in my steam library and haven't played it. Maybe with some mods. :smug:

I strongly recommend playing through the base game before attacking the DLC. The DLC is a completely different game, especially in terms of difficulty.

Probably to have the ability to buy orbs, so you can hire higher level pawns. The first game had this, too.

You could earn orbs in game. It didn't impact gameplay. What it did do is make the game easier for people with a credit card that need handholding.

For people that can't see this Twitter post: it's basically a resting sequences in a player camp. It's basically a short film. The reason why I'm posting it is because it highlights that there will be "fatigue" as a gameplay mechanic.

Oh nice, I like that. I always felt like DD needed more adventuring aspects to it. Makes me think of the game Outward.

The Knacker is a type of goblin that wields a long weapon.

They are agile on elevated terrain, and good at raiding from higher ground.

Underestimate their mobility and you may be easily overpowered.

A Wight is a priest's spirit that still holds a grudge, eventually becoming a monster.

It hides in darkness, casting powerful spells in succession from the sky.

It makes upfront fights difficult by wielding a huge amount of magick.

Idgaf about release dates any more. Either announce the release or stfu.
Anyway, it's not like release dates mean much nowadays. It's rare when a game's actually finished on release.
Although this one may be.
I still won't play it until there's a mod like the first one that removes weapon and skills locks from classes.

I know that this is DD 2, but don't do this kind of stuff. Don't preorder for stuff like this. Just don't.

ah, it's not Dragon's Dogma without half of the NPCs finding a way to use this word in every sentence.

Watched a streamer watching four shitheads playing the beta build.
Made so much fun of the four.
Watching them play so badly made me want to hit them with the CONTROLLER they were using. Poorly.

I get so annoyed at presentations with controllers from people who clearly haven't played their game much at all. Like the D4 one... If you want to impress get someone who can play it well, for one, then show a PC stream as well. "Gamers" will eat it up.

In any case I'm hoping for the best with this one. I'll def wait until some good mods are out and I can get a sense of how good it actually is.
