This one seems quite weird. I guess it's a bit like Stardew Valley, perhaps?

This game looks quite nice. It seems like a neat twist on the usual colony/farming sim. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one in the future.

Wandering Sword and Hero's Adventure have a cross-game free content update in a few weeks.
Hero’s Adventure × Wandering Sword Collab! Free DLC Breeze Remains Preview

Hello, everyone!

In our latest patch notes, we mentioned that updates have slowed down a bit recently. These updates primarily consisted of minor quality-of-life features, such as fast-forward combat and adding waypoint markers. Rest assured, though, we’ve never stopped working on new content.

How to deliver fresh experiences is something we constantly ponder. Previously, we’ve experimented with art-style tweaks, mini-games, and standalone quest lines, aspects that are internal to the game. And initially, we already had some ideas for this update. But an off-hand chat at the start of 2025 sparked a new creative direction:

“Why don’t we do a collab this year?”

Just like that, Hero’s Adventure is teaming up with Wandering Sword for a two-way collaboration! On June 19, we’ll launch the first collaboration DLC, “Breeze Remains,” on PC (mobile version will arrive about a week later). Best of all, this DLC is completely free for everyone!

Wandering Sword’s Popular Characters Are Here
Shortly after the Heroes Meeting concluded, a new string of murders targeting wealthy merchants struck the city. Our protagonist, the champion of Heroes Meeting, is tasked by the Imperial Ombudsman to escort him to Daliang. Along the way, they run into two mysterious swordswomen, one dressed in red and another in green, who have followed to investigate the Ombudsman. A tense standoff turns out to be a misunderstanding, and in the ensuing chaos, the real culprit slips away. The three of them resolve to join forces and uncover the truth behind this crime…

Breeze and Its Echoes, Chivalry and Conscience
As the group digs deeper into the investigation, they discover that this case stretches back decades, involving a young Hua Yan and the Breeze Sect. Bit by bit, the tangled history between the killer and the Breeze Sect is revealed. As the saying goes: “Jianghu's shadows linger at the close of the day, the soft glowing moon and gentle breeze have parted their ways.”

New Area: White Mou Marsh
In the remote northwest of the Central Plains lies the White Mou Marsh. A treacherous and tangled swamp infested with venomous creatures, it’s unlike anything else…

Development and testing for this new DLC are progressing steadily. Keep an eye on our upcoming announcements for the exact release schedule and detailed patch notes. We’ll also be hosting a few events to celebrate the launch. Since this is a two-way crossover, if you’re curious about the Hero’s Adventure content coming to Wandering Sword, feel free to visit their Steam store page here:

Even after more than two years since release, seeing thousands of players online every day reminds us that all our hard work and experimentation have been worthwhile. It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through 2025. Thank you all for your continued support of Hero’s Adventure. Let us know your thoughts on this update in the comments or in our official Discord. Until next time!

Ignoring the quality of the expansions (though most of the stuff they've released was good), kudos to both chink devs for giving away so much free content.

This got a full release, seems to be some kind of RPG hybrid
I have like 80 hours in this game. Its pretty great, but highly autistic.

You basically run your own wizard school, you recruit wizard students depending on their talent and potential and you go into a lot of fairly entertaining (most of them anyway) minigames where you use said students to get rewards. You can micromanage every student in the school, selecting what spells they learn, what drugs they take, and when it comes to the women if you are guy or guys if you play as a girl, date you and "dual cultivate" with you for extra bonuses.

You have a vampire survivor minigame, a dota lite minigame, a mobile mmo do as much damage as you can minigame, a game in which you customize every room in a dungeon with events to then go through each of them and accumulate bonuses (Need a strategy to build them so you can go through the dungeon as many times as possible, bonus points if you complete them all), and there are other modes too.

Its a very autistic game, but very satisfying when you start warring other wizard schools for supremacy, conquering cities, etc. Theres a dlc which adds furries, but I didnt buy that one, so i cant speak to it.
Just in general a whole lot of content, the activities range from good to bad, but you do need to do them all in order to unlock steps in the main story, though Im not entirely sure if its needed to finish the game.
I probably shouldn't admit this on this forum but I love cultivation novels and shit like that. Thanks for the recommendation wishlisted

looks better than nearly any upcoming western rpg :(
Psychich Kung Fu Master has a playtest you can opt into on the steam page

It has english, but it's machine translated. Seems to be heavily inspired by Hero's Journey

Have you thought about offering your services to Chinese indie game developers as an expert LLM-translation technician?

Of importance is that the links are not on Baidu, so actual humans can download them.

劍靈(Jiàn Líng / Sword Spirit), 2001
Do you have any more info on it, searching for the name in chink gives a lot of false positives, or games with a similar/same name.

Tried a bunch of different combinations, no luck so far in hunting down an actual copy of the game. Biggest issue looking for old chink games is that nearly all the links are going to be either to Baidu or QQ, which require a chink mobile phone number to register. I can't even find a Chinese equivalent to MyAbandonware or similar.

Plus, lots of their games are either remakes of older games, a reimagining of the same story or a sequel to a previous game.

The first game I posted earlier, the 2000 one, is a sequel to the first game that started all the games hero's journey and such are based on afaik

I had wanted to suggest rusty to procure us a chink or two using the HQ piggybank for this exact purpose.

EDIT:

I think I managed to get my hands on a delisted HD remake of Tale of Wuxia. Not sure if it's the actual game, but the guy that I got it from said his chink friend found it for him.

Below is a video comparing the original and the remaster. Not really sure why it was delisted from Steam.

These games always piss me off because I want crazy actiony wuxia fights but they're almost invariably turn based. Ironically the game that best delivered that experience was a fucking MMO, Age of Wushu. Even just moving in that game felt great.

Appears so. I think it was delisted due to licensing issue.

I'll upload it and post a link in case someone wants to take a crack at it.
