asf, you are my spiral starchild! Your post was the beginning of my spiritual journey!
Hilarious that this wacko has a girlfriend, he reminds me of the codex spiritual weirdos like the 777 guy. And of course, a TEACHER lives with an insane guy who is probably supplying her with drugs.
I should crosspost this to the Woman hating thread.

@loregamer I think I found the real reason for web chat vs API differences. Anthropic actually publishes their system prompt and it's massive:
https://docs.anthropic.com/en/release-n ... -24th-2025
Doesn't apply to the API

If you open an x.ai account and add $6, you can opt into them training on your data for $150 free credits per month which is unlimited Grok 3 for 99% of people

Do you mean just paying for a month of SuperGrok? I don't see where to add an exact balancerusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ May 9th, 2025, 16:29If you open an x.ai account and add $6, you can opt into them training on your data for $150 free credits per month which is unlimited Grok 3 for 99% of people

Is gemini the only model that can handle big context sizes?

these huge input windows are pointless, the ai only gets lots and output more garbage as you increase your input

any leaderboard that doesn't put claude 3.7 at #1 for coding is bullshitting somehow
either not representative of real-world tasks, or using stupid questions

I was so flabbergasted with claude 3.7 when it first came out. I thought it was like an over eager Adderral-fueled autist. I can't tell if it's become more tempered, or if I've just gotten better at using it
It's now my go-to model now that pretty much does exactly what I need it to do

How useful are the models accessible by DDG, and how anonymous are they really?

Are there any alternatives to Perplexity's deep research?
I assume something could be cobbled together using a good model + MCP?

A lot of the AI's have voice support now, as for being user friendly to boomers.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ April 25th, 2025, 18:30Are any of the major AI services capable of being used by boomers yet? That is, entirely voice activated with a very friendly UX?
That is a more difficult criteria to define.
I see my grandparents using stuff like siri and alexa a lot, which are basically low brow AI.

Google's AI has deep research now, actually preferred it to Perplexity.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ May 11th, 2025, 10:30Are there any alternatives to Perplexity's deep research?

Would still be interested in cobbling my own together if anyone knows

For some reason, gpt-4o-mini is suddenly very popular for coding. Is it just because retards confuse it with o4-mini?

Are we at the point yet where I can feed the RPGHQ into an AI bot and have a decent conversation about videogames that isn't via text?
Or better yet, just my own posts from 10 years ago so I can argue with my former self about game design.

Yes, it's mine. So are my words and thoughts, not to be scraped up by AI without my consent.gerey wrote: ↑ Yesterday, 14:41He says as he fondly looks at his AI generated avatar of a Nazi kobold.
