What's ambiguous about rule #2?
The only thing I don't agree with is the apparent no-ban-policy, or to use Elon's words (whom you hated btw just a year ago [I hate him now, because he's fake; controlled opposition]) the free-speech-absolutism. Half the Codex knew Theo was only there to destroy the dex a year ago, and nothing was done. And look where we are now.

We should have a rule for spamming. Nsfw can also cause an account to be banned. Those are the only circumstances where I'd say we need clear rules (already clear in case of nsfw).
Disruptive users, when they come, are better dealt on a case by case basis. Hard to define rules to prevent that unless you go explicitly for "No Crispy/No DU" allowed.

The issue wasn't that coterie were bad faith actors.
The issue was that staff had their thumb on the scale.

bullying / social pressure left to play out by the mob - uninterrupted will assert a community ethos. I don't trust a single user to make the call of "this is bad faith posting" - that's actually where you lead to one admin having a meltdown - pointing at shadows and screaming that people don't talk about x-topic enough as his entire community down ranks him as a retard.

Moderator intervention should be limited to Doxing / Spam / Malicious Code Execution / Blatant Marketing (Spam Ads) / Illegal content.
For everything else you have ignore lists and community policing.

Well, you said it yourself: this is the first time you do something like this and you already feel kinda overwhelmed.
I've witnessed probably half a dozen forums personally destroyed by malicious elements, and some of them had a really solid administration.

With that smug attitude of yours, we won't last long. Guaranteed.

There's a bug where you'll get notifications from reactions after disabling reaction notifications on posts that were already rated by at least one person.
I can see what causes it, but I'm too lazy to fix it right now.

Sometime in the future(that is, from the time I post this to the heat death of the universe), some changes will be coming down the pipeline. Smileys will be categorized with a dropdown list, quick-reply will get smiley support, and some ignore improvements. The latter will be incremental, as it's a process of finding all the offending areas and making changes.
