Nintendo: We Can Brick Your Switch Console If You Pirate Games

Nintendo has quietly updated its user agreement to warn gamers that it can brick a console if piracy or hacking is detected. The change, first spotted by GameFile, is the first update to Nintendo's user agreement since 2021. The previous version merely told customers that they were "not allowed" to adapt, reverse-engineer, or modify a Nintendo user account. In contrast, the new user agreement does not mince words. "You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with the foregoing restrictions, Nintendo may render the Nintendo Account Services and/or the applicable Nintendo device permanently unusable in whole or in part," it says.

Vergil is not British.
If he can call me Mexican, I can call him a Londoner. BTW, US department of travel considers Argentina safer to travel than his Caliphate aka Britain ( https://experience.arcgis.com/experienc ... 0ca3cebd9d )

Anyone here doubts that few months after Switch 2, Steam Deck will be able to emulate Switch 2 games at better performance and greater battery life?

Nintendo is as shit as M$. Just has less monopolizing power.
Extremely doubtful. The Steam Deck APU is between a 1030 and a 1050; with the emulation layer on top of that, it shouldn't be capable of running a machine with superior specs (Switch 2 is rumored to be around a 1050ti with RTX capabilities).

Can Nintendo's servers detect that you swapped out a homebrew OS on their console? What if you just don't connect to Nintendo's servers?

Thanks for clarifying. Maybe the next valve console will be able.

Either way, steam deck runs a "layer" with M$ spybloatware games and have a good performance for M$ spybloatware games.

Maybe I would buy a steam deck next time that I travel abroad, but I would NEVER buy anything from Nintendo. I really hate Nintendo.

It can, which is why homebrew/piracy/mods use emuNAND and are not installed on sysNAND directly. Sure, you could get by if you never connect, but are you willing to wait years until/if the system is fully broken? Any games requiring updates/non-baseline firmware/online activation would require you to connect online otherwise.

No platformer was ever good. It's a proto genre like adventure games that existed as stepping stones to real genres.
The only reason they're still made is because the simplicity of them appeals to normal 3 year olds and 28 year old reddit moderators.
Play Rayman Legends.
I just played a bit of Rayman Legends, around 12 hours, and it's decent fun. I'm sure you can grind it for much longer, but I had a good time. The pacing is good, the variety is great, and the movement mechanics are excellent. I'm mildly impressed.

It's every time, which is why people who are like "it's totally coincidental or incidental" fucking annoy me to no end.

Oh my. What a surprise. A jew.

People who buy Nintendo should be getting "I'm a retard" ID cards, double vaxx shots and mango flavored ice cream.

I'm ashamed to admit it but this kike managed to sneak past my jew radar. I never bothered looking into him since nothing about him stood out as particularly jewish. His name is probably what threw me off the most.
Since this is the first time I've seen anyone mention him being a Jew, it didn't click until now.

Named after an evil lizard villain that wants to kidnap & rape blondes: Turns out to be Jewish.

Really makes you think...

Bowser is really a Testudine but I wanted to tie the reptilian lizard people stuff in there.

Rayman Origins was quite challenging in certain stages, like the Desert and Gourmet levels, as well as the final one—but it was still incredibly fun. It's a shame that modern Ubisoft doesn't seem to care about making good games anymore.
